Interdisciplinary Studies at UConn: International Studies

The listing below provides links to many of the undergraduate interdisciplinary offerings at the University of Connecticut . This is not an exhaustive list. Much interdisciplinary work goes on within departments, whether in the form of concentrations within a major or minor, or within particular courses.

• The Office of International Affairs
  The Office of International Affairs is the focal point for international activities at UConn. It encompasses the University's area studies programs and administers a minor in International Studies, African Studies, and European Studies. Majors in these areas could be pursued through the Individualized Major Program.
• Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies
  Offers a major and a minor in Latin American Studies.
• Middle East Studies
  Offers a minor in Middle East Studies .
• India Studies
  Offers a minor in India Studies.
• Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life
  Offers a minor and outlines a major in Judaic studies (the major may be developed through the Individualized Major Program)

Note : Other interdisciplinary programs may include a track with an international dimension. The Native American Studies minor includes a track on Native Latin Americans. The American Studies major includes a track on "The Americas," centered on Latin America and the Caribbean .
